HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector bank, under its flagship CSR program #Parivartan has launched a 10-Bed ICU Project in Puducherry. The launch ceremony of the project was organised at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry. Honourable Lt Governor of Puducherry, Dr Tamilisai Sundararajan, and Honourable Chief Minister of Puducherry, Shri N Rangasamy inaugurated the project.

Under this project, 4 tech-enabled 10-Bed ICUs’ equipped with high-quality medical equipment, have been set up in the following government hospitals across 4 districts of Puducherry:

  - Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry
  - Government Hospital, Karaikal
  - Government Hospital, Mahe
  - Government Hospital, Yanam

The procurement and installation of state-of-the-art ICU medical equipment was undertaken at the district/taluka level government hospitals.
